#VlogMom: Where do you want to go today?

So I have been doing these weekly vlog prompts a couple times per month. Tell the truth. Do you hate them? Are they too long? Too boring? Too self-indulgent?

Actually, don’t answer that yet. Indulge me by watching this week’s video first. The prompt is a fun one this week. Elizabeth(@edVAcation) from edVAcation.com asks: “If you could travel anywhere (no expenses), where would you go and why?”

I certainly answered the where. I’m not sure if I answered the why but if you really want to know, just leave me a comment and I’ll gladly share.

I would love, love, love to hear your dream destination. And if you’re up for it, check out all the other places that the VlogMom community wants to go.

    I have a list that is pretty long. It’s weird, but the only places I really don’t want to go are China and Japan. I mean, I’d go if someone paid for it, but I don’t have a lot of interest. I guess my first destination would be Spain. I want to see the Alhambra and Seville and some pro soccer games and eat tapas and speak Spanish that sounds funny to me, because I’m used to Mexican/California Spanish. Turkey is up there on the list too, and Croatia, as long as I’m over there. My life list has “Visit all the Spanish-speaking countries” on it. I guess I had better get busy, since I’ve only been to 2.

      I’ve been to China, always wanted to go to Japan, but have mixed emotions about Spanish speaking countries. I’ve never had a desire for any of South America or even Spain. But then, my best trips have always been places I never intended to go.

    I’ve been to just about everywhere that I really want to go, with the exception of Israel and Tahiti. I’m going to Israel in January, but I’m waiting on Tahiti until I can really afford to live it up. :)

      I once helped a friend plan his honeymoon to Tahiti and I totally lived vicariously through him. I just wish they could bring Tahiti a little closer.

    I’ve been an a European tour and all across the U.S., not sure if I’ll ever see Antartica (sp). Share your photos if you ever venture there!

      Basically, there’s no place I’d say no to unless it was too hot or the spiders were too big.

    I think this is the first time I ever heard someone say that they want to visit Antarctica. I’m not against it – especially a cruise and penguin viewing. So if you take a blogging trip there let me know. :)

    I have not been many places at all, and would love to! My plan is to finish raising the kids first and then travel while they take care of things at home. LOL

    That would be such a fun trip! There is a tube there that you can go down in so you can watch the penguins swim from underneath!

    That is definitely not on my list, but if you go and have great stories when you return, I’ll reconsider.  I’m typically a beach gal when it comes to my getaways. Warm places.  :)
