Toys For Boys That Will Rock Your Socks

Is it me or did it feel like it went from summer to Christmas time overnight?

I mean, I can still get away with shorts outside but I actually saw this in the store last week:

early Christmas

So it’s time to start thinking about the inevitable.

THE CHRISTMAS WISH LIST

I actually was already thinking about it last month when I attended the Sweet Suite at BlogHer12 sponsored by The Big Toy Book. I saw lots of cool toys and started making a mental list for Evan.

Power Rangers – check.

Angry Birds – check.

Skylanders – check.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – maybe.

But it’s the unsung heroes of toyland that really win my heart. My good buddy Janis from Imperial Toys showed off quite a few of her offerings and then she asked me to check out some cool toys and review them if I wanted. And I said…

Anything but Kidz Bop.

So she surprised us with some really cool boy toys that apparently are all required to end in X. A quick video preview and then a bit more about the coolness.

So you just saw some pretty fun toys that clearly I had fun with too.

The first toy is called Imperial Toy Roxx Trixx Shot Stadium.

These are my Amazon affiliate links so I’ll make a few pennies if you buy them from there but have no fear, I saw this baby sitting right on the shelf at Walmart. (P.S. It’s $5 cheaper than Amazon)

The second toy is the Imperial Toy Zooma Splat X Smack Shot.

What’s with all the X’s?

Admittedly, I had a lot of fun with this one. And I also found this one sitting on the shelf at Walmart for a bit cheaper than Amazon.

The only downside is if you happen to live in a home with a very open layout, remember that the shots might possibly get stuck on high ledges over the front door because Mommy doesn’t know her own strength. Or aim.

Too soon? Thinking about Christmas toys? Already done shopping (you classic overachiever)? What do you think about these toys?

Disclosure: Imperial Toy provided me all of the above pictured toys to review. And as my son says, I have a “kid heart” so I was more than happy to do it. This is not a compensated review but I will earn a small amount should you choose to purchase any of the toys through my affiliate links.
