No product hawking with my VlogMom videos. Just a fun topic and some conversation. I’m trying to keep these short and sweet – two minutes or less. But as many of you know, I’m wordy, whether I’m talking or writing.
This week, Erin from A Parenting Production asks us to share an embarrassing moment. Why did she ask this? I’m assuming it’s because she wants us to relive those moments over and over and over again. And by creating a vlog about it and putting it on YouTube, we can also subject ourselves to public humiliation.
My story comes from my recent excursion to Nashville for BlissDom and involves two unsuspecting fellow bloggers.
Want to be embarrassed along with me? Share in the comments!

bwahahahaaaaaaaaa 😉 I thought it was pretty dang funny 🙂 I was so confused!
I’m so glad that I got to meet you. I totally adore you.
xo

Well, at least I made an impression on you 😉
That is hilarious!!!! If I am going to be confused with anyone I love that it’s with Rachel – she is a HUGE deal (me, not so much). hahahaha! So funny!
Clearly, my brain is very fuzzy and I get confused a lot!!
Oh Lord I have done this so many times! I am terrible with names…and faces…and twitter names..It’s impossible!
I am usually pretty good at faking it but this was just flat out wrong.
Oops, how did you recover from that one??
I had to admit the truth because Rachel was thoroughly confused. But I made it seem more like my ditz brain, rather than two fab bloggers that were easily mixed up (which was true – it was my brain).
HAAA!!! I have had mistaken identity moments. I even wolf whistled at my Mom as she pumped gas – and it wasn’t my mom. (& it wasn’t even her car) but I just saw the hair cut & well…
Too funny. I hate when that happens because how do you get out of it. I’m sure you all had a chuckle so and they will sure remember you now!!! 🙂
I could NOT get out of it. I just had to laugh it off like I was an idiot. Which I kind of was.
All the time. Like you’re living my life. That’s me. Confusing people and names all the dang time. But you made me giggle and I love your visual aides, your comments across the screen and might I add, lovely scarf. I just don’t wear scarves well, but I always admire them on others.
The only thing worse that usually happens to me is I don’t remember someone at ALL and I’m so bad at faking it.
Love it. I had someone ask me to be on their Just Dance team at Type-A last year and then they wrote down my name as Shannan. They thought I was Shannan Powell.
D’OH!!! I don’t know who that’s more embarrassing for, you or THEM!
giggle snort. . .THIS is why I think it should be mandatory to wear a name tag. . .just sayin. . .
Hillary
I ALWAYS stare at nametags at conferences. It usually doesn’t help until I see their Twitter ID, though.
Lol, Fadra. You make me smile. 🙂
Then I must be doing something right.
So yeah, I have 100% done this. I gotta say Kim is the sweetest most wonderful blogger. LOVE her!! (we have a Kansas connection LOL) I know how you felt when you realized you were talking to the wrong person. It is soooo easy to do though!
At least I know you’re Annie now. I think when I first met you, I could only remember Mama Dweeb!!
