I’m so stressed about the upcoming week. Not only am I continuing to tear apart every single drawer/cabinet/closet in my house in an attempt to live with less stuff but I’ve got a major project and several sponsored posts all due in the next two weeks. In addition to that, I’ve got two scheduled trips.
I always forget how things ebb and flow. I go from sort of busy to SUPER busy. But I will say I’m looking forward to both of the trips, the first one coming up this week.
On Thursday, I’ll be hopping aboard a train on my way up to the Big Apple (is this my first time this year? New York! I’ve missed you!). I’ll be packing in as much fun and networking as I can in two days all in the name of Blogger Bash (all the parties without the conference).
In an effort to pre-network and socialize, the fabulous Steph Glover has put together a bit of an online meet and greet called Coffee Talk. So let’s have coffee. We’ll talk. No big whoop. (see Linda Richman reference from SNL).
1. Name
Fadra Nally <= my true real name. If you want to know how I came to have that name, I wrote a whole post about it.
2. Where are you from?
I was born in Maryland, lived in Ohio and North Carolina, and have now happily made it back to Maryland where I’m living the suburban life just outside of Baltimore.
3. How long have you been blogging?
I wrote my very first post on 9/09/09 (totally a coincidence that I picked that date) but I really started blogging in earnest after I attended a Bloggy Boot Camp in March of 2010. And I’ve never looked back. I still love it!
4. What is the meaning behind your blog name?
Umm. I bet you can figure it out. Basically, I didn’t want to limit myself to any particular niche so I figured I’d just write about whatever popped into my head, which, it turns out, is a lot.
5. What are you most looking forward to at Blogger Bash?
Free wine. Wait – there WILL be free wine, right? And if you are brand reading this, I’m seriously just looking forward to connecting with good people and products. Who are serving free wine.
6. What three words describe you the best?
Ridiculous, compassionate, inspired.
7. Got kids? How many?
Only one. It was all I could handle. But my son Evan has been 7 years of nonstop entertainment.
8. We all have a pet peeve. What is your #1?
Here I go: people that are unreliable. If you’re going to say something or do something, then SAY IT or DO IT. Don’t be wishy-washy. That makes me insane. Also, I hate it when people use more than their allotted space in the overhead compartment.
9. If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?
My first thought is Helen Keller, although the conversation might be a bit strained. I know that sounds like a really bad joke but I do think Helen Keller was one of the most amazing people to ever live. But if I were to take it down a notch, I’d probably pick Elijah Wood because he’s just so darn cute.
10. Show me your face!
You asked for it…
If you’ll be at Blogger Bash, drop me a line and let me know you’re coming. I may even buy you a glass of free wine 😉

So COME ON DOWN! If you need a ticket, I can hook a blogger up 😉
O.M.G. That is super tempting. I am heading to BlogHer next week so I feel like I should probably stay here and do the whole mom thing. Can I sleep on the offer? That would be way too much fun! XO
I sooo wish I were attending! Have a great time!!
