Sounded great to me! But I’m a natural born skeptic so I had to check a few listings out for myself just to see if it was a real deal.
As an example, I researched a featured property on the main page of Whimstay called Das Weinhaus. It’s cute, whole house rental, located in Fredericksburg, TX, an area deep in Texas wine country. The deal listed was for one night, two guests, for a total price of $421.
With a little bit of sleuthing, I was able to find the same property on Booking.com for $698 for that same night.
I also found the property listed on Vrbo.com with a price of $657 for one night.
That’s an incredible savings (over $200 per night) for a last minute trip to a gorgeous property. And honestly, price-checking across multiple sites is exactly what I’m trying to avoid doing.
You don’t have to do the legwork yourself. In fact, it can be challenging as properties are often listed under different property names on different booking sites. Whimstay will do the comparison for you, as best it can, and show you the comparison savings.
