On the Road to BlogHer

I’ve written four posts about BlogHer12 already. I’ve made two videos. How much more can there be to talk about?

Well, I haven’t told you about my trip up and my trip back. And if I were to tell you, it might make for a rather dull story. It would go something like this…

I needed to get to NYC for BlogHer12 and my options were to take the train or drive. Since I have a spanking new car that happens to be a hybrid which gets really amazing gas mileage and it’s really fun to drive, I decided to drive.

And that’s not very post-worthy.

But if I show you that drive, it might be a little more interesting. At least I hope so.

P.S. This was my personal road trip to NYC for the 2012 BlogHer conference. Toyota did not sponsor me in any way. Not even tolls or gas. Not even snacks for the car ride. And thanks to my willing video companions and the people of NYC for making it a relatively uneventful drive.

I read your comment the night you posted. Made staying up so late worthwhile. Hope to see you soon. P.S. Did you ever get your cowboy boots?

I wish I could have gone. Thanks for the updates.

It was crazy, crazy, crazy. The drive was the most relaxing part of the trip!!

I want to drive with you! That would mean we actually got a lot of time to talk and you could like drop me off near my mom’s house! How the hell did you film yourself driving?

I am multi-talented. And I don’t mind people giving me weird stares. I’m down for a roadtrip with you anytime :)
