If you’re looking for a hair serum that actually works, Revela Hair Revival Serum is what you’ve been waiting for.
Earlier this year, I spent four long months using Vegamour Gro hair serum. I looked closely at my hair hoping that I saw some sort of results. I still can’t say if I saw hair growth or if I just really wanted to see hair growth. So I was somewhat hesitant to get excited about yet another hair serum.
Revela promised to be different and to deliver results in as little as two to four weeks (these promises were actually made in person over the phone). I accepted complimentary product but nothing else because I simply wanted to try it before I could endorse it.
What is Revela Hair Revival Serum?
Like other hair loss serums on the market, Revela Hair Revival Serum is an ultra-lightweight product designed to be applied directly to the area on the scalp affected my hair loss or experiencing issues with hair density.
A dropperful of the serum, applied every day, is designed to help support hair follicle health and reduce the appearance of thinning hair.
The serums is suitable for men and women and safe for color-treated, keratin-treated, chemically-treated,
or relaxed hair.
Why is Revela different from Vegamour (and other similar products)?
The biggest difference for me is the creation of the product. Revela isn’t a haircare company or a beauty company. They are a biotechnology company that creates innovative, science-based products.
They employ scientists that use artificial intelligence to find ingredients that, in combination, can produce the results people like me are looking for. Specifically, they’ve used AI to scan the library of 3 billion molecules and create a shortlist of ingredients with the highest potential of being the perfect solution. Each potential ingredient is then vigorously tested to see if they truly are effective and safe.
What’s in Revela?
As a result of this scientific process, the Revela Hair Revival Serum contains a proprietary, medical-grade lead ingredient technically called 3-(furan-2-yl)-1-methanesulfonyl-5-(methylsulfanyl)-1H-1,2,4-triazol (patent pending).
Yeah, it’s okay. I minored in Chemistry and still don’t completely understand it. But it does mirror some ingredients found in both mushrooms and mustard plants.
In addition to this proprietary ingredient, you’ll find the following:
- Caffeine
- Aloe Vera
- Saw Palmetto
- Biotin
- Niacin
- Folic Acid
- Glycerin
- Inositol
- Green Apple
- L-Lysine
- Vitamins B1, B5, and E

Most importantly to me, it doesn’t contain any hormones and is cruelty free, paraben free, and toxin free
How do you use Revela?
Now that you’ve bought into the idea of a hair loss serum and you’ve hopefully bought into the idea that Revela is the right hair loss serum, let’s talk about using it. Because I did!
The recommendation is to apply a dropperful of the serum directly to the scalp every day and massage it in. You can vary this amount depending on the area where you’d like to see growth. They recommend using it on dry or towel-dried hair. I preferred to use it right out of the shower.
I applied to the crown of my head and close to my part and then at my temples and hairline, which is where I tend to see the most thinning. Then I used the Revela scalp massager to massage the serum in (and my scalp was happy!).
And it’s important to note that it didn’t affect my hair styling at all. There was no residue and it didn’t weigh my hair down at all.
How long does it take to see results?
Here’s the million dollar question! Obviously if I hadn’t seen any results, I wouldn’t be singing Revela’s praises. They said that results are typically seen with two to four weeks. I probably started noticing my results after three weeks.
BUT… it should be noted that’s when you start to see results. You’re not done after four weeks! You’re done when your hair looks the way you want it to look. And once you get to that point, you’ll want to continue using Revela every three days or so to keep your hair follicles intact. Consider it part of your hair maintenance routine.
I’m only four to five weeks into my Revela journey but I’m thrilled with what I’m seeing so far!

Any updates since your November reveal? Would love to know if you’re still happy with the product.
They’re not their.
Enjoyed this review
I loved this duct it worked minoxidil d not work
Hi! Thanks for your honest review. Have you even tried minoxidil (Hers or other brand)? And any further review of this product after 4 weeks! Thanks in advance! 🙂
I’d love an update on this person’s hair. Did you have any side affect and what does your hair look like now several months later.
It doesn’t work….look at the picture, her hair is wet and the after pic her hair is dry and styled. Same amount of hair in both pics. ALSO, they will NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY!!!!
Thank you for your response. It sounded too good to be true.
That is exactly what I noticed! This “review” is entirely deceptive, and is clearly designed to get people to purchase through an affiliate link.
I can appreciate a skeptic (I’m one myself) but I did this as a review because I wanted to share my honest review and experience. I’m not a paid spokesperson. Affiliate links are there to benefit me if someone does decide to purchase. But I don’t lie or deceive people.
My hair is not wet in the before picture. It may not be as clean but it’s dry.
Can you tell me if you still use the product?
I don’t. I used it for 4 months and when I didn’t see the kind of results I wanted, I stopped. It’s expensive to continue if you don’t love it.
I misspoke. For some reason, I thought you were asking about Vegamour. I liked this product but I did not continue once it ran out simply because I wanted to be open to trying other things if needed.
I agree with the styling difference in the pictures. The after pictures hair is curly and maybe styled/product. In the before picture it is dry and probably a day or two from being washed.
It is absolutely impossible for any hair to grow as quickly as the pictures purport to portray in only 4 weeks. At best, fine baby hairs of very short length might begin appearing after 3-4 weeks, not the lush long hair that is portrayed. Oh please, this is not only a fake review but a badly done fake review. I am not commenting on the product itself; I have no knowledge of its effectiveness. I am only commenting on the false/doctored review.
Marcia – I’m not sure what you’re looking at. First of all, I don’t have long lush hair. I have fine thin hair. Second, all I’m showing is the baby fine hair growth. Believe it or not. That’s your choice. But don’t come to my site and call me a liar.
Hi when you stop using it did you lose the hair growth/density you achieved from it? Ty for the review.
I have a 2 part answer. First, yes, I lost a ton of hair when I stopped using it. But I was also coincidentally going through some serious hormonal changes at the same time. So I can’t say for sure that one action caused the other but they do recommend you use the product on a maintenance basis.
In your review you mentioned that there is a new formulation. How would I know if I’ll be getting the new formula or the old?
Hi Nancy – so the new formulation actually replaced the older product. They just made it more potent so you don’t have to worry about which one you’re ordering!
Hi Fadra,do you know if revela puts on any promotions around the holidays like easter etc.?
I would love to try this product but being in canada the 128.00 concentrate is pretty much 200.00 can. with the exchange
Please save your money—DO NOT buy this product!! It does not work–I used it as directed for over three months and did not see ONE IOTA of change for the better….I contacted them and let them know that I might soon have to use their money back guarantee….they convinced me that some more time might be needed (despite all their specious claims). They also said that the money back guarantee would not be honored until I had purchased and used at least 4 bottles of product or 120 days of use (they claim most users see some results far before that). When my third bottle was finished I tried to order a fourth and learned the product was no longer available on Amazon. I was told only users who bought/buy in bulk would be able to order any more. I was told I could buy again after the New Year when the Company that bought them out ‘launches their platform’. I told Revela my situation and they would not honor their guarantee. The Product did not work for me with well over 3 months of everyday use and yet they expect me to order again when the new platform is ready after 4 months or whenever it opens. So the nearly $350 dollars I had already spent will be wasted because I can’t use any more till around the New year and the product is unlikely to work for me anyway. I believe their intent was to sell out from the start and I do not believe they have ever honored a single money back guarantee they promised. I believe this constitutes UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICES
