If you’ve never seen my solo Christmas performance for @Neilochka’s Christmahanukwanzaakah, you’re missing out.
Missing out on really bad singing, that is.
Don’t worry. I’m still trying to find a way to top that performance. Today’s performance, however, is not it. Today’s semi-performance comes compliments of Erin from A Parenting Production who actually DOES have singing talent. So for the VlogMom prompt this week, she asked us to talk about our favorite Christmas song.
And we got bonus points if we sang it too.
I don’t think this is bonus point worthy. But keep in mind that it came after a long day at work and a glass of wine as I sat in the bathroom while my son took a shower and talked about what I thought was sexy.
Yes, it’s probably as weird as it sounds.
Your job? Tell me your favorite Christmas song and then go check out the other vloggers (and hopefully, performers, because that makes it more fun).

First of all, I hear you on finding time to write & vlog. The great balancing act of motherhood… cue creepy circus music. I’m relieved I’m not the only one who has to hide out in the bathroom in order to get more things done than that room was built for. But, onto your adorable vlog! I’m personally partial to Harry Connick Jr over Buble – however – I LOVED seeing Buble on SNL, especially in that “Hamm & Buble” skit with Jon Hamm. He has an excellent sense of humor; I’m sure he’d be a fun one to see live.
Stop. It. Connick is out. Over. Done. Finished. Buble forever.
I’m with Kelly on preferring Harry to Michael but he is SUPER good. I love that you filmed during E’s shower. Good acoustics right?
Turns out even good acoustics don’t help my poor voice. I can get the tone. I just can’t make up for the awful voice I have!
I’ve never heard that one! It sounds heavenly. I gotta get into this Buble thing. I think i’m missing out.
He is dreamy. And I never say anyone is dreamy. And he is dreamy.
The bathroom is my other office a la Gibbs. I’m a big Harry fan, too. I’ll have to check out Buble; he did sound just as cool.
No, no. Harry is so 90s. Buble is NOW.
You make me giggle, Fadra. Always. And in a good way. I’ve never been a Michael Buble fan, but I love that you have him on your phone for us. I’m just bummed I didn’t get to hear you sing!
Umm, don’t be bummed that you didn’t hear me sing. Be glad. Be very glad.
I am in love with Michael Buble’s Christmas music! Totally with you. And also giggling 🙂
Excellent multi-tasking!!

Great idea to shoot the video while your son is showering!
